Hiring Overview
Electromentors is a dynamic education and training platform dedicated to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry-ready skills in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). We are seeking experienced professionals, engineers, and technical educators to join our growing network of instructors to deliver specialized training courses.
We offer online and hybrid short courses, bootcamps, and custom training programs tailored to upskilling students, new grads, and working professionals. This is a great opportunity to give back to the community, share your expertise, and help shape the next generation of ECE talent.

Key Responsibilities
Ability to develop and deliver engaging course content (live or asynchronous) in one or more of the following areas:

Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure

Protection, Automation, and Control (PAC) Systems

Power Electronics & Energy Conversion

Power System Communication
-
Transmission and Distribution Cybersecurity and Compliance Frameworks

Industrial Communication Protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus)

High Voltage Engineering and Tests
-
Energy Storage Systems
-
Renewable Energy Systems Installation and Operation
-
Semiconductors (e.g., SiC, GaN) for Power Systems

Embedded Systems and IoT
-
AI & ML Applications in ECE
-
Edge & Cloud Computing
-
FPGA Design & Digital System Architecture

Autonomous Systems (e.g., drones, robotics, self-driving vehicles)

Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) & Wearable Devices

Quantum Computing Foundations

Data Science & Big Data Analytics

Computer Vision & Image Processing
- Provide mentorship & practical insights based on real-world experience.
- Adapt instructional delivery to a diverse and professional audience.
- Collaborate with Electromentors to improve training content.
- Contribute to curriculum design and industry partnership projects.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering; Ph.D. or post-doc preferred.

Professional Experience: Proven expertise in electrical and computer engineering field.

Teaching Experience: Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering online courses or training programs.
-
Recorded Courses: If you have previously recorded full course videos or training sessions, this will be considered a strong asset.

Skills: Excellent teaching and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an accessible and engaging way.

Credentials: Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is an asset.
