Dr. Vahab Khoshdel

Dr. Vahab Khoshdel, Ph.D., P.Eng. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Manitoba. His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, and Robotics, with applications in Finance, Insurance, Agriculture, and Medical sectors. His career is marked by a prolific contribution to the field, evidenced by the publication of more than 50 technical papers in prestigious journals and leading conference proceedings. These publications reflect his deep expertise and innovative research in these critical areas.

Beyond academia, Dr. Khoshdel serves as the Director of Data Science at AIRM Consulting, where he leads the development of AI-driven solutions to address industry challenges. He has extensive experience in transforming ideas into real-world AI-based products, overseeing projects that bridge cutting-edge research with practical implementation. Notably, he has spearheaded the creation of cloud-based AI products, such as AGI3, which enhance agricultural operations.
