Service Description

▶ Course Level: Introduction / Overview ▶ Suited for: Individuals who want a global outlook of what other countries are doing in the energy space as it relates to the energy transition – big moves and learning. The energy transition is happening! The rate of change from conventional energy solutions to the “new energy” solutions differs from country to country and region to region. Some countries are early adopters and champions of certain solutions whilst others are taking a “wait and see” approach. They are all on different points on their energy transition journey. Examining the energy landscape from a global perspective will allow for course attendees to explore and discuss what has and what hasn’t worked for each country – Influencing their thought process to address / assess their own country’s energy transition whilst paying attention to the lessons learnt from others. This course is geared for individuals who want a global overview of Distributed Energy System (DES) technologies and solutions being designed, developed, and implemented around the world. Key Areas that will be explored in the course include: •Global Assessment & Macro Outlook of DERs, Use Cases & Influencing Factors •R&D Developments by Asset – exploring technology advancement of DERs •Asset Maturity Landscape – DER maturity and adoption impacts •Energy Impacts – Increased energy demand requirements from EVs, data centers etc. •Digitalization – Impacts of digitalization solutions on the energy systems •Emerging Technology Landscape – AR, VR, AI & Data Analytics Impacts By the end of this course, you will be able to: •Have a baseline of the global energy landscape and keep you up to date on the latest status of DERs, their adoption, and R&D developments. •Understand energy demand requirements and the role DERs will play to address it. •Explore and assess the impacts of emerging technologies on the energy landscape. * All participants will receive digital course materials, including reference guides and toolkits. *The service fee is tax-included. *Upon completing this course, you will earn the Electromentors badge and receive a certificate of completion. *Electromentors is an approved provider of IEEE CEU/PDH Certificates. *All purchases at Electromentors are final.
