Narges Zarean Shahraki

​Ms. Narges Zarean Shahraki is a seasoned electrical engineer and an expert in power systems and HVDC technologies. With over a decade of professional and academic experience, she specializes in the analysis, modeling, and simulation of HVDC transmission systems using EMT/PSCAD, with a strong focus on advanced system topologies and dynamic performance under various contingencies.

Her expertise covers a broad range of power system topics, including system stability, LOV phenomena, grid interactions, and reactive power compensation. As a Ph.D. candidate and active researcher, she has made impactful contributions in areas such as online inertia measurement, integration of HVDC systems into weak AC networks, and the application of FACTS devices for enhanced grid support.
