Dr. Abolfazl Babaei, P.Eng., IEEE Senior Member, is a seasoned expert in power systems and renewable energy integration. With over 12 years of experience in electrical engineering, Dr. Babaei has a proven track record in designing and modeling power system solutions, including extensive work with PSCAD on projects like TRV, TOV, SSO, SSCI, and grid forming, as well as RSCAD and PSSE. As a professional engineer and active researcher, he has contributed to numerous publications and advanced projects on grid stability, HVDC systems, and interconnection studies.

Dr. Babaei’s teaching portfolio spans over 7 years, engaging students and professionals at the University of Manitoba and the International College of Manitoba. His passion lies in equipping learners with the practical skills needed to address real-world power system challenges.
