Minoo Shariat-Zadeh has over 20 years of experience in industry, research and development (R&D) and academia. Minoo develops materials for unique and professional courses, and provide training on subjects such as clean energy, clean power plants, smart microgrids design, operation and maintenance(O&M), smart electricity grids, building controls and operations management, and residential renewable energy technologies. She has published multiple papers on smart grid technologies and co-authored the book Smart Microgrids: Lessons from Campus Microgrid Design and Implementation (Taylor & Francis Group). Minoo is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientist BC (EGBC) Canada and a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
